The financing through DCU was a bit frustrating, but that is not any fault of Boston Prime Cars. The entire time if I had a question or wanted an update, they would text or email back within the hour, most times within minutes. We love our 2016 Jeep Compass and would definitely do business with them again. 4 weeks agoWe called an hour or two before coming to check availability of the car we wanted. We drive over an hour and got there and they tell us it’s not available. These people suck. They tried to sell us a more expensive car telling us it’s the same . Well not it’s not! It was substantially more money. As a business owner myself I would have had the decency to call my customer. Just don’t plan on Alberto being true to his word or giving a damn because he is not going to do either. Sorry but I would give them zero stars if it were possible. Don’t waste your time with them!4 months agoRead this review before you step foot in this dealership. DO NOT waste your time coming here. The customer service is awful! They refuse to tell you the price of a car until you put a $500 fee down (Despite what they say on their website) They’ll tell you it’s refundable and then NEVER refund you. I think that’s the only way they get commission because no one actually purchases their overpriced low quality cars. James is a pushy and shady care salesman, and his boss Oberto doesn’t make time for customers. THIS IS NOT A GOOD BUSINESS. All the employees are rude and lazy.5 months agoOverall, the shopping experience was sub-par. Staff had a difficult time calling you back when they said they would. Despite multiple conversations ahead of time and a prior in-person visit, the day of purchasing the car still took almost 3 hours. It is clear that the staff did no preparation work ahead of the purchase date–it should have only taken less than hour.Staff also tried charging me for the $399 doc fee, despite the fact that the Avis website says that it is already included in the price.
Manager was rude at times, walking away from you during a conversation. And, sometimes, rather than talk things through, the manager would threaten to sell the car to someone else.
While I am happy with the car, I don’t see myself buying with Avis ever again.
5 months agoThey have the worst customer service in the entire world.I liked a car and planed to purchase it, therefore, I deposited $500 on June 24th to secure the vehicle. But after couple of days, due to an issue I was not able to finalize the purchase. Therfore, they should have refunded my $500 back immediately, unfortunately they didn’t. Since then, I was calling evreyday or a day in between for my refund, but every time I called them they made an excuse until July 27th that they told me they refunded my money. But until now, Aug 10, everytime I called my credit card company, it is still not refunded.
5 months agoI purchased a car that I was told was not in an accident. After driving the vehicle for a few months I noticed a huge pull to the left. The Hyundai dealership found that the vehicle has actually been in an accident and unfortunately the high cost insurance I bought through Avis won’t cover what I need. They also found a tracker device plugged into the car which I was not told about. Very confused and creeped out by that. I’m looking into what I can do to get any of the huge amounts of extra cash I’ve had to put into the car on top of the monthly cost and a useless insurance policy. I advise anyone looking to purchase to be very careful or look elsewhere. I won’t be using this location again.

He did not utilize any old-school car dealership sales tactics. My car’s pricing was fair and I was only charged for standard fees, which were disclosed upfront – no surprises. How did I meet my car, “The Finest Touch”? I found her through a reputable car finding website. He told me to leave the car for a few days, and upon my return, I was blown away! They completed a full detailed of my car!!! Which was a really nice touch! Bobby made sure all of my questions of maintenance and care were answered and I felt like I was in really good hands.

Beware of buying a foreign car from this place if you live out of state!! I brought a Porche Macan from them last year and the truck was delivered with the brake light on. The back brakes needed to be changed upon arrival! Not to mention the oil change was needed after 60 days of having the truck. It hasn’t been 8 months yet and I’ve already had to purchase 4 new tires. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on a truck that I haven’t even owned for 1 year. When purchasing from them, ensure everything is done before purchase (brakes, new tires, oil change, etc…) Please do not assume they will be courteous enough to sell you a vehicle in tip top maintenance because they won’t! I would never purchase from them again. I didn’t even want to register the car because I wanted to send it back so bad. The communication was very poor from Milad after the sale was made, however Bobby did continue to communicate but this was overall not a good experience. HUGE lesson learned.
Let me also add that I just went in to trade the truck in and get rid of it and was advised it was a lemon. They didn’t tell me it was a lemon until later on in the buying process and because I had never brought a vehicle before on my own, they took FULL advantage of me. I brought the truck from them for over 45k and now 1 year later, the truck is valued at 26k. I am taking a HUGE loss just to get out of this vehicle. I forewarn you to be VERY cautious from buying from these people. Moving forward I will purchase DIRECTLY from the manufacturer dealership. I’ve never purchased from a 3rd party and this was a tough lesson learned. Never would I recommend these people!
