a month agoI have used this car wash many a times in the past and most of the time my experience is decent. Yesterday also I went there as usual for a car wash. My the car is not washed to my satisfaction. Most of the cycles were much faster than it should me. The car is not rinsed thoroughly and the dryer blower started. Lot of soap and chemical residue remained. Also the rail which moves the car during car wash caused a bad scratch in my car’s front bumper. Stay away to save your car. My new car which I maintained very well so far got a unwanted scratch for this car Wash’s fault.11/14 update based on owner’s response to my original review: The response is misleading and trying to put the blame on the customer rather than accepting their fault. I have clearly mentioned that the scratch is caused by the iron rail which moves the car in the automated car wash. That’s why the scratch is at the bottom part of the front bumper near the tires. The attend at the entrance of the car wash was supposed to guide properly so that tire align with the rail to prevent any kind of scratch. But he was not paying any attention to his work. This has nothing to do with what type of soft cloth the car wash uses. I know very well that there was no scratch in my car before this incident. There was no manager seen onsite to complain, only few college/high school kids in red shirt.
a year agoUpdate: Just went back..same exact service I got the first time….this time the car didnt come out fully cleaned…. The wheels were not cleaned or shining like before….they were super busy…maybe they need to clean the drying brush or the other brushes because my car did not get cleaned like before…Im going to keep searching for a good car wash….My car came out looking brand new…. 4 stars because it did leave some scratches after going through the car wash…. But it wasnt too bad…. Would definitely recommend this location….. Best I been to so far…. And plus fifteen minutes of free vacuum use… Which is a huge plus
4 years agoIf you like a Quick wash…. This is the place! It can get really packed on a Hot Summer Day or Right after a Snow storm to get that salt off your Vehicle. Free Vacuum is a Plus. a month agoGreat service here. The guy who detailed our F150 truck on Saturday, he did a good job, except cleaning the inside of the windshield. It was blurry on the drivers side ??2 months agoPrices went up and half the services that are included in price do not work. My vehicle looked worse after the wash. Windows and mirrors all have spots. The drying machine is down and they don’t tell you that befor you use their services. Place is nice and clean for you too wait as it gets detailed cleaned and the staff is very helpful. The price is responsible as well. I would recommend anyone to come and try it out. 5 months agoIf I could give 0 stars I would. Paid Over $30 and I sill have to finish their job.. (what I already paid for).. Customer service is really bad too! I told the one guy who “cleaned” the chocolate that there was still chocolate and he just keep walking away! So I went inside and the lady “who is usually nice” had a stink face when she saw me back in there because the guy had told her that he already cleaned the chocolate and if I needed more, I needed to pay for detail.. there’s dust in my car as well but I was more concerned on getting the chocolate off the cup holder.2 months agoAs I read through some of the reviews, I just can’t relate to any of the negative comments here… this has been the best car wash in Delaware for years!I just recently went through the wash and my truck got stuck and it messed up my wheels… The owners were COMPLETELY ACCOUNTABLE and had new wheels for me in a week! This is the kind of customer service we don’t see anymore. It’s a shame that many people nowadays are always looking for a pay day. This car wash is #1. a month agoI went to this car wash about five days. I ordered the second best which included almost everything. It seemed like four minutes went passed and they called for owners of the Lexus, I told my husband that was fast. The inside wasn’t dusted or anything the mats weren’t lean just a bad job all over I will never return3 months agoI’ve been here on three occasions after visiting Target across the street (very convenient). Each time the wash has been great and service professional. After reading some of these other reviews, I do think there is some mismatch of expectations about what a $20 wash and vacuum includes. I’ve lived in four states and visited dozens of car washes during that time, and I think this place exceeds the standard. If you want a detail, buy the detail (they offer this). I did see a car that had been detailed and was super impressed. Will be back for this service myself. Otherwise, if you and/or your car is just an average level of messy and you visit a car wash with some regularity, this place will more than serve your needs for a quick and quality wash.2 months agoThis is the last time I’m coming to this car wash. They don’t clean properly and never vacuum correctly, as you can see in the picture. Just save your money and go to another car wash.

Very quick, but nice experience. Didn’t have time to clean our car at home while watching all of my kids during spring break. So, I was searching for a car wash that I could bring them to “experience” riding through a car wash. Needless to say, they loved it. I purchased the Blue Hen Protect ticket online and just scanned the barcode when arriving. I’m not sure how they decipher who bought what when you go through the wash, but it’s impressive (assuming I received what I paid for).
It’s nice that I was able to vacuum my interior and discard trash upon leaving, because that was very helpful. Very clean and professional car wash. I remember when they first built this, and it still looks brand new. Will definitely return, especially since my kids loved it so much.
Automatic minimal wash with lots of flashing lights but not much cleaning that did little for a truck size vehicle. No drying people and self vacuuming (weak) included in price. They seem to make most of their money selling clothes and drying accessories from a vending machine. Just wanted to get the dirt off on a sunny day but need to find another car wash to clean from the first. Not sure why it’s 4.5 stars. Quick and easy but not
effective.
This car wash is simply the best! The staff is phenomenal, especially Shawn; he goes above and beyond to provide top-not customer service! Besides living less than a mile from the car wash, it seems to well run. Building and grounds may be old, bit equipment is not. It’s the only self service car wash that I’ve seen that has towels for customers to use.
Manager takes care of any issues promptly. Membership good a t Ellton MD location as well. Open early, closes laye, even open early on Sunday.
Great way to keep the car clean year round. Monthly membership allows you to come regularly and there are lots of vacuum stations to keep the interior clean, too.
