  This is the place to go. They fo a great job. I’ve been to other car washes and paid more. And been very unhappy with the quality. RAINBOW CAR WASH does the best job. You’ll be happy with them

  my car is scratched in multiple places on one side of the car. The front man told me I was the one the caused the scuff on my mirror because i hit another car. mind you this is a brand new car. I need the owner too reach out too me and not the front man who told me too kick rocks.

  Scratch windshield of brand new car and said there’s nothing they can do to fix the issue. (I couldn’t give negative stars!!!) We’ve been here numerous times and they’re usually good but today we saw multiple scratches on the windshield and pointed it out to them, they tried cleaning the windows again but the scratches were still there (mind you they put our floor mats on the windshield while vacuuming the inside) and when they were taking the mats off the windshield , it got stuck…. they tried saying it was wear and tear off the blades but when I told him it was not in the motion of the wiper blades he said he still couldn’t do anything about it…. needless to say, we will NOT go here EVER AGAIN!

  For the money it is definitely worth it. Not 100% clean or perfect but it’s like a knock of detailing service so I think you have to understand that. You get what you pay for. I paid $25 and couldn’t be any happier with it . I will finish it off but definitely worth it . Will come back and would recommend to people .all my pics are after it was done.

  I used to love rainbow and was a regular customer. The last two times have been an awful experience. The first time I went on a Saturday and after I confronted the manger because of crumbs everywhere in the car I was told that it’s a weekend and that’s why they take $5 off of the interior cleaning because they are busy….fast forward to today (Friday) and there’s still crumbs everywhere after my clean. Also, to add this is a brand new car and we’ve only had it for about 3 weeks so it’s not very dirty.

  There’s so much I can say about this place but for the sake of time I will keep it short. I took my truck to get clean inside out and I must say it looks like my 9 year old son did it from the window to mirrors to the wiping down on the out side it was so bad then when my husband asked for to be done over they began talking in Spanish and walk away I ask to speak to a manager they told me he was the manager and there’s nothing she can do but I can call back everyday and see if the owner came in that day. My over all experience here was bad

  Absolutely would NOT recommend, they do not do nearly as good as they use to. (July 2023) I went today got a premium wash and tipped $10 just to find they didn’t wipe off any of my seats or my dash. I’m someone that keeps my car very clean to begin with but could still see dust and lint everywhere that only needed a quick swipe. Also they didn’t vacuum my trunk which was empty or my back seats. As far as the outside it was just smudges everywhere. Finally the windshield was not wiped at all. Very disappointed and will be taking my business to rainbow wash.

  Horrible experience! I took my Mom to get her car washed today and it wasn’t cleaned properly, we were told her car was too dirty. The owner or manager said we needed to make an appointment! An appointment to get bird poop off and to get dirt out of cracks and crevices! If washing/ cleaning cars is your business there is no such thing as too dirty! (my Mom got the deluxe wash). The customer service is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend this business. The previous owner has several great reviews with before and after photos showing cars covered with bird poop and the cars came out totally clean, there was even a guy who said he got his car washed once a year. If you are an old customer, you’re going to be really disappointed! There was no attempt to rectify the issue at all. I would have given no stars but that’s not an option.

  The detail is not there. I went by past reviews and bought the package but I will not be going her for my car wash. The new people just do not do it for me. I swear they do not vacuum the back/ the rug still looked just the way it was when I pulled up/ crumbs everywhere. Just save your money and go elsewhere

  This place is not what it used to be a few years ago. There is a completely new group of staff and the attention to detail simply isn’t there. The focus is on quantity, not quality. Three people vacuumed my car and still left debris behind. My cup holders and center console weren’t wiped down. Various spots on the interior were left dusty. Stains left on my windshield. Some areas left on my tires where they did not thoroughly utilize the tire shine.

  OVERPRICED…. 3.50$ for 4 minutes. To wash your car you’re looking at 10$ for a SELF SERVICE car wash that’s high. For that price you’re better off going to an automatic car wash.

  I’ll Start off by saying what goes without saying ! lol ,there’s not a whole lot these days you can expect for $10 and although it looks like a VERY impressive set up pivoting around your car while inside the booth and applying several different types of detergent…. it will STILL ONLY get off “VERY MILD surface dust/dirt” there is NO REPLACEMENT for MANUAL LABOR ! LOL ? “REGARDLESS of how much you pay” in an automated car wash, even after the car wash of a car that was just Dusty and had been sitting for months and not even driven, I STILL had to go out in the parking lot and literally wipe down everything FROM TOP TO BOTTOM by HAND including the RIMS and even the TIRES themselves that just had mild dirt on them didn’t come clean anymore than they had been before entering the car wash,(SEE OUTER EDGES IN PICS ) they say: “pictures are worth a thousand words” so from here on out …..”read the pictures” ! LOL ? for the same $10 you spent sitting inside the comfort of your car, that same $10 would be better spent being outside with the brush scrubbing with the soap and then spraying it off with high pressure would have given you “10 times better results” in “about the same amount of time” ! And of course…. you “are literally being timed” ! LMBO ? so get the most out of your time and money ! Go MANUAL ! because in this case you WON’T get what you think you’re paying for ! ? The LAST PIC is AFTER THE ELMANUEL PROCESS ! LOL ,the choice is yours ! “Hard work pays off sooner or later but procrastination pays off right away” ! LOL ?

  The automatic car wash sprayed soap down one side of my truck then stopped. This was after I used the manual car wash to loosen up the dirt. Not what I paid for. Off to another car wash.

  Update : I completed their complaint form and they called me back within a day or two. They apologized and told me to come in for a free wash. I just got my car cleaned and it worked well.

  It didn’t work right the first time, but they made it right.

  Soapy Shell is hands down the best car wash in Dundalk. It’s the only place I take our family’s cars.

  Convenient location that’s easy to get in and out of, lots of vacuums and wash bays if you prefer to wash your own car. Or, if you’re like me and like to let the machines do the work, they have a tremendous “touchless automatic” bay that is priced extremely well and won’t scratch your car!

  Go early though, they can get a little crowded on the weekends but the lines always move quickly.
