Tara Grammy, a renowned celebrity, stands with Palestinians and appeals for an Israeli ceasefire in Gaza. Along with Adam Lambert, Dua Lipa, Gigi Hadid, and other top artists, Tara Grammy has signed an open letter urging President Joe Biden and Congress to push for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Palestine.

The open letter, called The Artists4Ceasefire, demands that President Joe Biden and Congress work towards de-escalating hostilities in the region after weeks of fighting. The letter was sent in an effort to persuade the U.S. government to convince both parties to agree to a ceasefire.

In the open letter, Tara Grammy highlights the dire situation in Gaza, stating that children and families are running out of essential supplies such as food, water, electricity, medicine, and access to hospitals. The airstrikes and cuts to supply routes have left Gaza’s sole power plant without fuel, resulting in a shutdown of electricity, water, and wastewater treatment. The humanitarian situation has reached a critical point, with reports indicating the possibility of further attacks. Tara Grammy and the other signatories are calling on President Biden and Congress to immediately de-escalate the conflict and implement a ceasefire in Gaza and Israel before more lives are lost.

Tara Grammy’s involvement in signing the Artists4Ceasefire letter demonstrates her concern for Palestinians and indirectly appeals to Israel to halt the continuous attacks on Gaza, which have resulted in the loss of thousands of lives, including women, young children, and the elderly.
