  They did an excellent job. Crew of three did a professional and detailed cleaning. They arrived within the appointment window. Cleaning took longer than expected, but that’s a good thing – they were thorough. Crew were all very considerate and worked without disturbing our cats. 9/10 would recommend. There is a mail flyer that gets you $50 off your first visit.

  After receiving a brochure in the mail advertising their services, I called and spoke with a friendly and professional customer service rep who quoted a price and said a cleaning rep would call me back to schedule. After 5 days with no response, I called again and a different representative said they would look into the situation and definitely have a cleaning rep call me that day. That was 3 days ago. No call yet. Why send a brochure if you’re not going to clean? Update: Shortly after posting this negative review, I received a voice mail from the cleaning rep who said she’d tried to text me a couple of times. First of all, the customer service rep said I would receive a call, and secondly my phone doesn’t take texts. Why was it too much trouble to actually make a call if I didn’t respond to a text? I decided that a service that doesn’t follow through on getting new business isn’t going to be the service that will be diligent about keeping business.

  $450+ to have a couple people rush through the house with cursory cleaning. We thought we were getting an honest, deep professional cleaning – and this lightweight brush-through is NOT worth hundreds of dollars!!! (And thanks for filling up our bathroom trash can with your used paper towels.)

  Also, no one responded to my Special Instructions when I ordered online. No one followed up after we placed our order. Every time I tried to call Cleaning Authority I got routed to their online national call center where no one knew anything and their customer service reps were rude.

  We finally got a call less than 24 hours before they were scheduled to show up by a harried worker who could only repeat his apologies and ask if I wanted to cancel the cleaning. I then find out – only because I asked! – that they “don’t do windows and don’t do walls.” WHAT?? Why isn’t this listed ANYWHERE on their website?

  Very disappointed and will NOT use them again. **UPDATE** They refunded half of our charge after this complaint. I am VERY relieved. Adding back 1 star to this review.

  The Cleaning Authority does an excellent job on my house. Although you don’t have the same people come to you house if you contract with them for a regular service, all the girls have been super nice, very professional, very detail oriented, timely and consistently excellent! My only issue is that it is a little expensive but I enjoy the service so much that I can not cancel 🙂

  Jose and team not only did an amazing job, they saved my sanity on an incredibly stressful moving weekend. Originally, they were only doing a move-out clean, but due to issues with the moving and packing (movers leaving early and leaving a mess + unpacked items), I was scrambling to clear out items at the very last minute. When the cleaning team arrived (after they’d already accommodated me changing the time), I was still trying to clear a lot of stuff out. Jose asked if I needed help, what did I need to do, we rescoped their work to include clearing and packing items to be hauled away. They were a lot more efficient that I was. The team checked in when any questions, and honestly, left my old apartment cleaner that it was when I first moved it. I was ashamed at the condition everything was in when they arrived, and they just attacked it all with purpose, professionalism, and care for the stressed mover. I couldn’t believe what they did in a short period of time. I very much look forward to having them help me maintain my new space.

  Jose and his partner cleaned 1st time, they did a great job and charged $140. When i hired him today 2nd time, he instead send 2 of his workers, who confirmed with me that it will take 2 hours. Jose then tells me that this time he will not charge me $140 and instead it has to be $220 (This is for a 500 sq ft condo with hardwood except for a small rug) . I understand prices change but he should have told me the new price before the cleaning started and not after I left the building. I agreed to pay his new price but no cleaning was performed.

  When I called sharing the pictures with him, he wanted me to pay $100 extra and wanted to charge me to come back just to clean the couch and a small rug. He also wanted more for individual appliance cleaning, all this while being rude and threating to take me to collections with a recurring $50 month fee that his collections agency would come after me for.

  My wife and I have had April Lane cleaners come in to help us with our bathrooms and kitchen for a couple of months and it’s been great. They do a thorough job every time, and leave it much cleaner than we would be able to in much less time. Their cleaners really know their trade. Our regular Daisy was walking a trainee through our house one day and I found myself nodding along thinking “I should do that too” a number of times.

  With their online portal, its been super easy for us to adjust our cleanings when we’ve need to as well.

  We’ve been using April Lane’s since we moved into our home in 2020, and they have been simply wonderful. All of the cleaners do great work and are a joy to have in our home for a few hours every other week — especially Daisy. Daisy performs their job with professionalism and meticulousness that is hard to describe, but leaves our home feeling clean and fresh every time!

  Additionally, as we’ve had to reschedule or cancel several visits on very short notice, April Lane’s have been extremely understanding and accommodating.
