I really wanted to like this company, but when I returned to my house after the Geaux maid’s cleaner had been there for 3 hours, I was shocked because it was like NOTHING had been cleaned. (We were informed after the fact that the cleaner they sent had the flu which is why nothing was done.) But this was disastrous since I had hoped to have a clean house prior to my mother (!) arriving for Christmas. I received a partial refund, but given that so little was done and how it ruined our holiday, I expected a full refund. They didn’t seem to care if we were satisfied or not.2 years agoDo not use. This is what a 400 dollar “deep clean” will get you from this company. Also, when I was called back after lodging my complaint, I was given a discount of only 80 bucks! I had to spend another 3 hours cleaning all of the things they didn’t even touch!9 months agoI used them once and the women “deep” cleaned 3 rooms and one bathroom. It took her five hours and it was not done well. She did not even have to do the Kitchen as it was already clean. They were hired to come weekly at 11:30 am and messaged me to tell me they will be here at 8:30 am????? They do not yet know they are fired.a year agoI had a deep and general clean of my apartment. The cleaner, Stephanie, showed up on time. I walked her through the home and went over what I wanted cleaned. Stephanie worked hard throughout the entire house to clean my place up and down. Much to my pleasant surprise she even organized areas that I didn’t go over with her in detail (as you can tell organization isn’t exactly my best trait). The entire house looks amazing, she got through every nook in the home and didn’t mind the fact that my large Labrador retriever was in the home! Overall I would say that this cleaning exceeded my expectations and I’ll be recommending them in the futurea year agoI was a customer for a year and half. If you get a good, thorough clean you’re lucky. My last clean lasted 45 minutes. She not only left the trash bag that was full, she added more trash to it. She used my vacuum and left that full, too. She half changed my bed and left the dirty comforter on. Out of the 48 cleaning points the website promised, she performed 12.I reached out less than 24 hours after and didn’t get a response until I bumped my email. During the second phone call, I was gas lit and yelled at, she proceeded to tell me that I was wrong.
The owner of the company doesn’t care that his employees are giving such sub par cleans and even worse, that they aren’t following up with unhappy customers appropriately. You’re better off flushing your money down the toilet

Highly recommend!2 years agoWe utilized City Maids to do a deep clean of our residence and now use them for bi-monthly standard cleaning. We have found them to be courteous, responsive, flexible, thorough, and, in general, very professional. The initial deep cleaning was performed by a team, but our regular cleaner is Angie, who’s game and affable no matter the state of the house when she arrives. We have dogs and our floors are very hard to keep clean as a result of their hair, dander, and the dirt they track in on their feet from the yard. Each visit, Angie gives our floors a full sweeping, mopping, and leaves them in beautiful shape. We also appreciate how she asks each time she cleans if anything special or specific is needed on a particular visit. She also makes sure to check with both my wife and me to ensure nothing gets missed.We also did a fair amount of research as to cost before hiring a maid service as we had to be conscious of how the recurring service would effect our monthly expenses. We found City Maids to be quite reasonably priced, comparatively speaking. Finally, I would say that everyone we’ve dealt with at the company has been always pleasant and accommodating (Peach is an absolute peach!). 2 years agoDanielle and Myra were wonderful! My house had been rented for months at a time as a long term Airbnb and desperately needed a deep cleaning. Danielle and Myra worked as a team to clean every baseboard, ceiling fan, high dusted, sanitized and put everything back together in a lovely way. They arranged the pillows and bedding and couch the way I would have. They were quick and efficient and worked hard the entire time. They suggested things like washing the shower curtains to freshen things up even tho I didn’t have it on the list. They walked me through every thing they did room by room. I was so appreciative of their professionalism and thoroughness. I have signed up for regular cleaning with City Maids after this successful experience. Peach was also great from the first point of contact. She answered my call at the very end of the day during a holiday season and got me a cleaning appt the very next Monday. We had Cleaning Authority come for the first time today & we are so pleased! They team that came to clean was so polite, very nice, easy to talk to & did a fantastic job of bringing our house back to life! We have 5 pets and a baby so it’s often dusty and chaotic so coming back home to such a shiny and fresh house was amazing. The communication with the owner was easy! I made the right choice by choosing The Cleaning Authority of New Orleans. Rose and her son attacked the house immediately on arrival. They were extremely thorough and a pleasure to be around. The house looks great.
Charged for a deep cleaning. Received 45 minutes of rearranging pillows and partial cleaning of kitchen counter. The other hours that were paid for, were spent sitting in a car in my driveway. Called the supervisor who showed up at the door with the two cleaners to confront me on what was not done, then wanted me to show them what should have been done. Refused to return the payment for services not rendered. You are charged for the cleaners to sit in your driveway.
The experience has been excellent. Always on time, the appointments are confirmed days prior to the service and the house is very clean. Highly recommended.
