4 months agoI took my Chevy Kodiak here for its first oil change after getting a completely new motor installed. I tried a few other shops in Mount Shasta and they sent me packing because of the height of the vehicle. I supplied the oil and the filter and they only charged me $35 and that included tightening all 32 of my lug nuts to the correct specifications. I was concerned that they had some low star ratings but it does not reflect on how they operate. Everything was done within 45 minutes of dropping the truck off.2 months agoSince nov.2023 I have had many things fixed to my car .I had them put a new battery in my car .my car won’t start after it sits for a week .they have checked the alternator several times and other reasons I have taken the car 3 more times and they cannot find anything wrong but they haven’t put another new battery in which it’s under warranty but they don’t suggest that they just say oh well ! So I’m not too happy with them and will find another shop to give my business to .my car always has been a great car and my 5 year old battery would start it after I didn’t start start it for a month .so you do the math and tell me it’s not the new battery .I am going call again but they will want me to bring it in again and charge me again. I’m not doing it .I’m am very mad at them. They can’t find out anything !!!my sincerity review6 months agoChris and his staff are awesome, I broken down Sunday night had to wait until Monday morning called Amber took my call she put me on hold for 30 seconds,Chris told me he would have a tow truck right away, Carl the tow truck driver was great the guy treated my truck like his own I was a little tired and stressed but he new that and started talking like he new me for along time and told me Chris would take care of me, Chris drove me back to the motel I showed him my trailer he said he could get me set up a rv park if I wanted. He called me later to tell me what’s going on that he would ordered the parts and the cost, he fixed our truck came picked us up and drove us to his office to pick up your truck. Chris and his staff really care about there town and customers,again Chris thank you and your staff and Carl the tow truck driver you guys are awesome.6 months agoI am very pleased that I got to do business with Brooks. Dave, the manager, identified my problem, treated me with respect and dignity and I am extremely pleased with my outcome. Treat these professionals with the respect they deserve and you will receive it.I am a disabled vet and my tow vehicle encountered a significant problem. I could have been stranded and exploited. This business did the opposite and instead, treated me like family. I can’t express how much this means to me. Thank you Brooks crew, especially Dave. Great people.
7 months agoOn our way back from camping we had an issue with the parking brake on our 2019 VW Tiguan – tow truck towed our car to this shop. The towing guy was great but I do wish he would have been honest and told us that this shop doesn’t do work on our type car that way we could have towed it to a shop that does! Anyways, shop was closed when car was dropped off. Next day I called multiple times to see if they had a diagnosis – they never called me back. On the 2nd day I called to say I was picking up my car since no work had been done and that’s when they told me they didn’t have the computer or equipment to fix my car and I needed to take it to the dealership. They charged me $60 for that and they basically did nothing to the car. I wish they would have been honest – straight forward from the beginning. Instead of finding out multiple calls and days later. So if you have a similar car: STAY AWAY. Unless you just have flat tire!

I don’t normally write reviews in general but I had such a good experience with Nina at Yreka Motors. I have a crazy work schedule and she took extra time to make sure to work with my schedule and make sure I wasn’t rushed. She went above and beyond showing me multiple vehicles even researching the right vehicles for me and to help my weigh my options to really make me feel I was making the right choice. Her friendliness and customer service was next level. Nina thank you so much for all your time and effort and making the entire experience pain free! I would 10/10 recommend going to see her specifically.
I would have never brought my 2017 Edge to them if it weren’t for the warranty. It took over 6 weeks to get an appointment for diagnostic. They checked one thing then put it out back. Said it’s going to be another 6 weeks before they look at it again. I’m making payments on a car I cannot drive. They don’t have a loaner car. They take in other appointment off the street but won’t look at my car again for over a month. I’ve never had such awful service.
I bought this car from them a year and a half ago. I’m a single mom making several monthly payments on a car I’m not in possession of.
When I brought it in, they never said they would be checking one thing at a time, several weeks apart, or I would have gone to Crater Lake Ford. I called 4 other dealerships asking about their process for diagnostics. They all said the same thing. No, we don’t keep putting the car in the back lot, we set the appointment then diagnose from beginning to end. They all said they’ve never heard of such a thing. So, on December 18th they’ll look at it again. I don’t expect to have my car back till February, if I’m lucky. I understand back order, issues arise but this is not the case here.
I try to shop locally. Never again at Yreka Motors.
Back in august I bought my first car and I absolutely loved the family friendly services I experienced here at Yreka Motors. Just recently I bought a newer car, and when I tell you they went above and beyond for me, I mean it. Kristie Ballenstin was the saleswoman who sold me my car. She was and is absolutely amazing. And she is very thorough in her work! She also has messaged me continuously to check in on me and ask how I like my car. If it wasn’t for Kristie and Yreka motors, I wouldn’t have my amazing vehicle and I definitely wouldn’t have made some great friends. So thank you Kristie, and everyone at Yreka motors! ❤️
