5 months agoI bought a van from them. Got it home, Air Conditioning did not work. I called 4 different people there multiple times. No call back. I fixed it myself. I just got a flat today. Went to change the tire and there was no spare or the tool to drop the wench. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH, DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE! I think my salesman’s name was Richie. Lee Anne Schembre was my sales associate, and she was amazing, but the entire staff at CarMax Cranston/Warwick was exceptional. I will only purchase vehicles from this location moving forward!
First went in to either trade in or sell my car. Didn’t have an appointment but didn’t have to wait long to see someone (maybe 30 mins) even though they were full with appointments already. Was shown finance options and taken through the process of getting an offer for my car. Went back in with an appointment the next week to just sell my car to them and was in and out of there in under an hour! Was helped by 2 different agents that were both awesome!
The young man who helped us was great. He knew what he was doing and proceeded quickly.
Although we had an appointment, we did have to wait before we were served.
I was somewhat pleased with the offer given to me, though I felt it should have been negotiable due to the great, immaculate condition of my vehicle. The car can easily be sold for mid 20000., with minimal to practically no work.
Admittedly I went into this knowing what I was getting into, and I had to stay on my toes throughout, but in the end this Carmax did right by me. Although I did pay a premium on the “out the door price”, what I received in return for my money was a relatively stress free experience, even when I bumped into a pretty big issue right after the purchase of the vehicle, this Carmax gave me a loaner and took care of it without another dollar coming out of my pocket,
and now the car runs beautifully. All in all I would definitely purchase another car from them, and I would have no trouble recommending them to my family and friends as long as they knew to do their own due diligence.
