2 months agoI had a very good experience buying my new truck. Nick was very professional and nice to work with. When it came to setting things up in the cab he was very helpful. The person that helped me with the financial work was also really good. His name escapes me right now but made things easy for me.a month agoLittle to no updates from Nelson Associates. Great turnover with loaner trucks several times and great communication with that. But little to no contact from Service with Updates about the steps done or taken or completed during the process. We only received information when we, the customer, called in.Suggest implementing a 5 step process for updating clients:
1. Inspection Complete 2. Parts ordered 3. Parts received 4. Parts installed 5. Ready for payment/pickup.
Detailed communication from dealership to customer at the end of each step, would ensure that the customers are informed and are kept in the loop. There is a severe lack of communication between service writer and customer. This process would fix that.

I look at for a new car, i will go back with them and find the good car for me with the help from their team. I love how beautiful place, clean room, restrooms, drink, coffee area. So I did and the other guy that schedules says no opening that day and best to schedule. So I did. It was today at 11am. I drove in and the guy was expecting me. I did need my tires rotated for the 1st time since I bought the car. That was done today. I saw on the paperwork that they went by what I said last time for oil change. Next time I will have them review. Also, I did ask about a car wash. He says they do not do that anymore. No car wash at Ford? Hmmm that is different. How do you keep your cars clean? I waited in the room by the show floor. Clean and nice. No newspaper though. I guess I am use to Lithia. I asked if I still had a free oil change or tires rotated as tires was my first rotate. He said no. I bought this car from Nelson in Fergus Falls. They said yes in Fergus Falls when I bought the car. When I left today, I looked as the Ford popped up an email. My code. The car interior was dirty upon pick up. My oil change inspection form was not completed so it is difficult to really tell what was checked and what wasn’t. The only evidence of the actual oil change being done is the new sticker in my car. Asked for things to be left alone (my radio/dash) and now those things are damaged/not put back together properly. Thank you Nelson Ford! A positive thought was that the office management staff was very polite and helpful through the issues.

Purchasing our new vehicle was a great experience. Our sales associate, Mike Menard, was extremely knowledgeable, honest and helpful through the process. We highly recommend Mike and doing business at Rydell.
When I bought my vehicle from Rydell I was instantly disappointed. They dealership did nothing to provide a positive experience for a person buying their first ever new vehicle. Then when it comes to service, going to the dealership is like being drug through a cattle auction. Nothing but a chaotic rush. Get in, don’t know where to go or what to do, get pushed out the door.
Upon purchasing the new truck I was told the “one” benefit I would get was a free oil change. I live almost 150 miles from the dealership so I cannot just swing in for a quick service. My truck was to be outfitted with a heated steering wheel so I thought I could get my oil change at the same time, nope. The gal told me it was expired and there was no way Rydell was going to do a courtesy service. In addition from the day I bought the vehicle the steering wheel was not properly aligned, again I cannot just swing down for a quick service so I thought they could tackle that as well, nope….. Oh, you have more than 7500 miles on a vehicle with a bumper to bumper 36 month, 36k miles, so no that would be a minimum $189 charge for an alignment. No courtesy service here. Pay up or out you go.
Then when I went to pick the vehicle up, it was the good old stand around and wait for the gal to socialize and hold a baby while staring at me waiting at her counter. Just an all around bad experience. Never again will I return to the dealership for a sale or service.
I would like to thank you Joel for all you did for us yesterday at Rydell’s. It was a very long day but in the end we got a beautiful vehicle that I LOVE very much so thank you again for all your hard work and support!
