I asked them twice to not rotate my tires because I still had 2 snow tires on the front and they did it anyway. The cost ended up being $350 over the estimate, even with an almost $200 discount coupon. And charged me $47 to top off my DEF. At my previous visits I was very pleased with the complimentary wash and vacuum (which alone was enough for me to recommend them to anyone), but this visit they skipped the vacuum service. Very bummed that they no longer go above and beyond. Hope they can turn it back around, I love my VW TDI! The shop manager even said that they don’t inspect their used cars at the dealership they have some other place do it so they don’t ever look over the used cars before they put them on the sale lot, the sales people have NO clue what they are selling you they just want to make the sale that’s it that’s all! So many red flags with this dealership and I would never do business with them again and I wouldn’t advise anyone else to either!! This is our first time working with Prestige Kia. We worked with the parts/service department as we needed another key. This is a 2 step process. From the very first phone call they were a pleasure to deal with; very personable and thorough, making sure I understood the process and cost. When we went to the shop to get the key programmed, we spoke with Jared. He didn’t just handle the key programming but he checked our entire vehicle for anything that could be wrong. He directed us to a very comfortable waiting area with refreshments, popcorn, tv, and charging stations. It would take pages to describe how thorough he was. Sometimes this could be irritating but it wasn’t, it was just good customer service. In this day and age when customer service is at an all time low, Prestige Kia is a shining star. Nice job Prestige, God bless. Oh I almost forgot, they also washed and vacuumed the car!!!
I have been going to prestige ever since I bought my car and have always had excellent service until today. I went in for my usual oil change & wanted to verify the price. We were told that an oil change that normally costs about $50 would be over $80 then he went on to say that he normally has problems with yaris’s when they do oil changes so it could be upwards of $130. Needless to say I left without an oil change. I feel this employee was inflating the prices & now I’m extremely hesitant to return to prestige.
Jared from the service department is top notch. Never makes me feel like a moron when I bring my car in for service. Recently purchased new tires and they are wonderful in the snow. Thanks for always delivering a good service experience (with rides to/from work also!)
I’d like to say my experience here was a good one, but it wasn’t. I was originally supposed to buy an SUV and due to the air conditioning not working when they tested the vehicle, I was unable to purchase it because I needed a vehicle before the 2-3 week range that they gave me in order to repair said vehicle. Anyways, I ended up with a Mitsubishi Mirage, there weren’t a lot of options for me, I felt pressured into buying it, if you’re familiar with the vehicle, it is very small, cheaply made, and not good in the winter what so ever. I was told my monthly payment would be around $400 a month and in the end it ended up being $550 I have had the vehicle for 7 months. The vehicle mechanically is good, the gas mileage is great, everything else is not. I have a family of 4, so there is no room for all of us. And in fact, it is so small and cheaply made I don’t even feel safe driving my 2 young children in it because if if we were to get into an accident, I’m not sure if we would survive it. I called a week after purchasing the vehicle and they would not take it back. After a few more months I tried to see if they would trade it for something else, but due to this vehicle not being in high demand, it basically instantly lost an obscene amount of value as soon as I drove it off the lot. So they will not even let me trade it in for a different vehicle because of how much negative equity it has. Although this did offer me a different vehicle for the low price of $900 a month. What a joke. I will never be returning here. I understand they have to run a business, but pretty upset that they have no moral compass. Thank you to Shue for trying to help, I understand there is only so much that they can do, but they in turn have earned a very upset customer that will never do business here, nor recommend them to any family, friends, or colleagues.
Amazing people that are willing to do almost anything for you but if you get a service done make sure you check your fluids. I had got a coolant flush and for some reason I had no coolant in my car. none. No leak. I do think it’s a good possibility they forgot to fill it back up.
