Horrible sales practice. Was sent an email stating my minimum down payment would be $2k. Walked in and spoke with Steve who I was emailing at the time, and then was told a minimum of $4k on a $13k vehicle. Almost half down. Then was lied to about being told I have zero vehicle credit history when I have financed 2 vehicles in the past.

Do not recommend. Also did not appreciate the look I received by him. Easily noticed I was being judged.

The car I bought looked nice and the staff was nice, but within three months, it needed a whole new engine. Apparently, it had been having MAJOR issues before we bought it. The car has been a total nightmare. We ended up spending about $6,000 dollars on it between a new engine and other things that broke (fuel pump, o2 sensor) I took excellent care of it and I’ve barely been able to drive it. The dealership was absolutely no help.

I bought a car from here a few months ago and I’ve had no problems. The staff was really friendly and the entire process was much, much easier than what I thought it would be. Their website does a great job at listing every detail on each car. Even though I didn’t have my license yet to test drive it, they allowed me inspect the inside and turn it on. During the paperwork they explained each part I was going to sign. If I had to give a complaint it would be that the right rear view mirror is a little broken and wasn’t listed in their website, but the mirror and the adjustments controls do work so it’s more of a cosmetic issue at most. Overall I had a positive experience.

I recently purchased a vehicle at DFW Auto & Services. The buying process was easy and smooth. Their selection of cars is top notch. They have everything from cash cars up to the fancy imports including SUV’s. The sales reps let you browse at your own pace and are there if you have any questions. The service department answered some maintenance questions I had and the finance department was great. They didn’t try to pressure me in any way. They also allow you to hire a pre-buy inspector to look over the vehicle if you want a car checked out before you buy which is good to know. That’s what I did. I will definitely tell my friends and family about this place.

  1. Outstanding services. I got my dream car in two days. Brandon was transparent about the entire process, no hidden fees and he always show a great customer support, kindly answered all questions I had about the car. Thank you, Brandon!

  2. Had a great experience selling my car here. I was trying to sell my car private party to get more money but I finally gave in and did one of the instant cash offer things online. Next thing I knew, I was getting called from 15 different dealerships offering way less than I wanted. I wound up getting contacted by Michael at Texas Cars Direct and he was instantly different than the other big box dealers. He was straight up and honest with me from the start and I greatly appreciated it. I went in to met with him the same day and he inspected the car then agreed to pay exactly what he offered over the phone. No tricks or shady behavior. Even though I didn’t want to trade and just sell outright, they did not have any sort of attitude about that. Was a great experience beginning to end and I highly recommend them.

  3. We stayed in contact on and off for 9 weeks about a specific car. They call themselves a “haggle free” dealership. Ultimately, it means that their listed price is their final price with no surprises. At first, I found it annoying. But after dealing with 26 other dealerships over 10 weeks, – many of them with slimy salesmen – I really came to appreciate Texas Cars Direct. I racked up a lot of stories from the different personalities and annoying salesmen pitches I dealt with. One place had $2,700 in fees after their price, not including TTL.
Kyle was the gentleman I worked with at Texas Cars. He was honest, helpful, and updated me when the car was discounted. My wife and I continued to watch the market and keep an eye on their posted price. I finally purchased my car from them. After the listed price, I paid $189 in fees which he told me about in advance. That was awesome! Good luck finding a place that can match that!
My family is loving the car. It’s 15 years old, but was as pristine as Kyle told me it was.

  4. Over the years I have bought 2 cars from Texas Cars Direct. This time I needed to sell my car. I worked with Lorenzo who was a pleasure to deal with. He was quick, efficient, fair and kind. I’d highly recommend this company for buying and selling a car. They are a no hassle company to work with!

  5. Amazing place to buy a vehicle. Outstanding low mileage selection and good prices. I bought a 2016 Wrangler that had only 64k on it.
Brandon was great and made it quick and easy. I will definitely start my next vehicle search here first.
