4 months agoHad car wash service today and I received a Poor service at this car wash! I paid and my car was not properly vacuumed, or wiped cleaned. And when I asked the men outside for a towel and their spray to clean what they didn’t gave me an attitude! All I was doing was to helping you out with what you didn’t finish!! And you have one or more men working on one car how can you not clean the inside they we pay for it? I understand you’re trying to get the cars out fast because you’re busy but I’m very and Highly disappointed. Do a better job!!!5 months agoEvery time I come to this car wash the workers are ALWAYS revving my engine up as high as they can. There’s times when I have to enable valet mode so that they don’t damage anything. Today was the final day that I allowed this to happen. Every time they do this to my car they start laughing as if it’s an inside joke. I went to the owner (he will respond below and you’ll see how terrible he is), and he said that they rev the engine to make sure that it’s still in neutral while going thru the wash. I understand that but you don’t need to reach 3-5k rpm to achieve that goal. My concern was at the end of the wash why are you revving my engine at all? All you need to do is put it in drive and coast. In the video you’ll hear him rev it up and begin to laugh with the rest of them. After speaking with the owner he said, “if you don’t like people driving your car you can go somewhere else.” As a business owner I would never speak to any customer in this fashion. I can tell that he’s from the “good old boys” club and doesn’t like when certain people complain. They didn’t rev up the engines before or after mine. To get my super charger to engage in neutral you need to rev it beyond 5k rpm. I assumed that as a Customer he would just say something to the affect of sorry man I’ll speak to my guys about this so that it doesn’t happen anymore. Nonetheless, I canceled my membership and will do like he said and go somewhere else.2 weeks agoThey did an awful job. The floor mats still had goldfish crumbs smashed in them. And the windows were smudgy and dirty.Sir, I did not run to my computer. I was there two weeks ago. And yes, I did tell them I was displeased. He grabbed the driver’s side car mat and wiped it a few times and got some of the crumbs out but not all of them and put it back in the car. At that point, I began looking at the windows and the underside of the car and realized they would have to wash the entire car over again, but i didn’t have the time. Your reply to my review speaks volumes of your work ethics.

4 months ago@ Broad Street Car WashThe owner is unhinged and un empathetic. This morning my car rolled into the back of the car in front of me. I informed them. The owner came out to tell me it was my car somehow rolling faster than the roller and it was my fault. No I’m sorry, no responsibility. Owner started to get more aggressive and pushed me to basically tell him to get out of my face. He persisted acting like a child. You sir are in customer service and if your car hit another car at someone else’s car wash I’m sure you would be livid. Even if you started off with an I’m sorry it would have helped the situation. He goaded me and I took the angry bait. Will never go back to this place.

3 weeks agoExcellent thorough job, hard working crew, and a good value for your money. Tip them well, please.There aren’t too many car washes in the area that do interior for you, so I found Capitol in a Google search and decided to try them out even if it was a little bit out of my way, since my dirty minivan needed extra attention. I got the full service which includes basic interior cleaning, to get a benchmark.
They exceeded my expectations! They were adequately staffed so the line moved quickly but they really took time on my vehicle to get the job done well, but moved efficiently. They did a great job communicating some special instructions to each other, and the team worked so hard and got everything super clean. They were so thorough, removing mats, vacuuming and washing them down, and vacuuming and wiping every surface, edge and corner. I was impressed by the results, as well as their attitude and their work ethic. I gave them a nice tip and wished I could give more, so I’ll be back and be prepared to tip even bigger next time. Definitely worth recommending and my repeat business.
3 months agoThe only thing Capitol Car Wash has going for it, is its proximity to my home. It’s convenience that makes me return not the quality of their car wash or the lack of transparency in their rates. The car on the outside is generally washed acceptably. However, the inside is barely wiped and I often leave with a dirtier, dustier dash then when I came in for cleaning. My recommendation – find another place!a year agoCar got scratched by the machine somehow, tried talking to management and got shrugged off after multiple attempts at conversation. Have to file a police report just to have proof of incident for my insurance company.8 months agoNormally, the service is decent and good service here but there is a obvious problem with their equipment. In recent months I’ve noticed the lack of soap and water used on each car. It’s barly enough to clean and rise the car. Pay attention! I went there recently and my mats were still dirty becaue there is no soap and water to properly clean them and my car was not as clean as it has been in the past. Fix the equipment and/or discount the prices you’re charging. I plan to cancel my monthy service because it’s not worth the time or price anymore.9 months agoCheapest car wash in the area. And the best quality car wash. Everyone else is twice the price and horrible quality. I absolutely only come here now to wash my cars. If you have an expensive vehicle with a sensitive paint job than obviously it’s not a good idea you should wash it at home. Because ANY car wash won’t be a good idea.

6 months agoAt first they were okay but the last two time I went paid 45.00 and my car was not even dirty. Just needed a wipe down and vacuum. My rugs still wasn’t vacuumed. You guys can do better. I just took it today to give them the benefit of the doubt and paid the 25.00 and my car is never dirty just alittle dust. My rugs are still not vacuumed. It was ok. Not bad.. car washed, free vacuum but vacuum wasn’t powerful enough but it was good and it’s better than nothing. I recommend those in Trenton and in Ewing who need a car wash to go here. Pricing is in the pictures that I’ve posted. You can pay in cash or use debit/credit card. Please be aware once you enter, you can’t back out since this is one way.
This car wash went from sugar to shìt it’s not worth the money I’m here now in we stuck in the wash I promise I wasn’t coming back here when I still had soap on my car last weekend ??
I have a monthly subscription for washes. Went to this location & during the wash I was hit repeatedly by the car behind me during the wash. My car is dented & scratched & the person behind me has damage as well. They say they’re not responsible & it’s ridiculous. How can they run a business like this? Just damage cars & say it’s your problem. Signs or not they are responsible & now because they’re not an upstanding business I’ll have to go to small claims court & it will be a huge ordeal.
The police were called & they said there were no moving violations & that the car wash is certainly responsible signs or not.
Not a good way to do business & be trusted.
It bent my tags. But the cleaning job is fantastic. I wish they did inside detailing. Overall, it’s good to get a wash whenever i go in thst area I just drive right in and getter washed. Lol when people have issues at the drive up point, assistance comes out immediately. Keep up the great customer service!
It’s a good car wash leaves your car very clean. Personally I wouldn’t not take my car back there to get it washed. Last time I was there my car got a big scratch from those brushes! Just going to stick with washing my car at home.
