Sara Driver Stands with Palestinians, Appeals for Israeli Ceasefire in Gaza

Renowned celebrity Sara Driver, along with Joaquin Phoenix, Selena Gomez, Ben Affleck, Priyanka Chopra, and several other top artists, has signed an open letter urging President Joe Biden and Congress to push for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Palestine.

The open letter, called The Artists4Ceasefire, demands that President Joe Biden and Congress work towards a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas. It was sent to Biden and Congress in an attempt to get the U.S. government to convince both parties to agree to de-escalate hostilities in the region after weeks of fighting.

In the open letter, Sara Driver conveys the following message: “I’m calling to urge you to stand on the side of humanity and call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, the safe return of all hostages, and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the civilians in Gaza.”

Sara Driver’s participation in signing the Artists4Ceasefire letter demonstrates her concern for the Palestinians and indirectly appeals to Israel to halt its relentless attacks on Gaza, which have taken the lives of thousands of women, children, and elderly individuals.
