Long story short, DJ texts me and says can you come check this van out, say less, I’m on my way! Pulled up around 10:30am, DJ was handing me the keys by 1pm. Car washed and cleaned. DJ explained the warranty, extended warranty, and other options I chose. DJ didn’t push me to purchase anything and yes I declined some of the things he offered. Run away as fast as you can!!! Purchased a vehicle in June of 2022. Since then I have driven it a total of 2 months. It was at the Lincoln dealership for 4-6 months and now has been in the body shop.
When we purchased the vehicle. The Carfax reported the only damage to the vehicle was a minor front end collision without air bag deployment. Title was clean. Now the carfax says severe damage with airbag deployment.
I did a VIN search and look what I found. See the attached pics. The car was totaled. Yet some how the title was clean. Another fun factoid the Lincoln dealership notified me the engine was salvage. This was after every wiring harness and the computer were replaced. Never trust the carfax or these dirty car salesman. Worst scam job I have every experienced.
Wife purchased an 2017 VW GTI not long ago from this Shystie car lot, and let me tell you… we’re in the process of filing with the Better Business Bureau, as well as taking possible legal action.
My wife paid over $15,000 cash for a 2017 GTI, which according to Ben’s auto sales, had a rebuilt title because it had been stolen, the police seized it in California, and the car had been returned to the owner/dealer.
They allowed that the vehicle (going off of their CARFAX) had been in no collision or received any other damages other than the theft. Beyond that they mnew nothing more about the vehicle.
After about a week of driving the vehicle, and noticing it was overheating we had to take it to the shop on our dime. My wife ended up spending a little over $2900 in repairs to get the car in tiptop safe driving shape.
Our mechanic at Eurosport automotive in Norman, Oklahoma, totalist that the vehicle had been in the front and collision from what he could tell under the hood. So we started investigating, pulled up our own CARFAX and lo and behold, Ben’s automotive has owned and sold this vehicle two or three times . They’ve known about every collision. It has been in they’ve known about every report it has had on it they lied to us, they lied to my wife they took advantage of her. They knew that she had $15,000 cash in her pocket, and they took completed vantage of her.
YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!
I will spread the word everywhere I go about how she was treated, and how she was taken advantage of. If you will do this to her, he will do this to anyone, no matter their age or disabilities.
I bought a truck from them in August. Seemed ok, the very next day the check engine light comes on, (like they just cleared it to sell it.). Fast-forward three months. The thermostat goes out. I take it to have it replaced. They tell me the check engine light on is because there’s a broken bolt in the manifold that’s creating an exhaust leak. They gave me no option, but sold me this supposed fantastic Warranty that would cover anything. Lol sike!!!! I called the warranty company and they don’t cover it. I Would not recommend Ben’s auto sales to anybody. Also, they gave me two sets of keys, one set worked the other set the key or the key fob don’t work. The
key doesn’t even go to this truck.
